Community Garden

Members of our Collabortaive Practice Group have been creating a beautiful  Community Garden within the surgery grounds.

We plan to start a regular  gardening group in the near future.

Any donations of gardening equipment and plants would be gratefully received.

The Community Garden can be accessed via the gate to the left hand side fo the front entrance.

2023 marked 75 years of the NHS, so we decided to plant a beautiful rose mamed in honour of Aneurin (Nye) Bevan, founder of Britain’s National Health Service and in recognition of the NHS, its people and associated organisations and charities.

We also collaborated with Meopham Secondary School Community Group, and the students planted their time capsule in the garden to mark the coronation of King Charles.

We plan to hold a Health & Wellbeing event in the Summer, where our Collaborative Practice Champions will be on hand to talk about the Community Garden and other fantastic projects that we are working on.
