Appointments

How To Book Your Appointment

Our GP appointments all start with GP Telephone Triage or our online triage service, eConsult.

Postnatal examinations and all baby checks will be arranged by our administration team.

Telephone Consultations and Appointments can may be made by telephoning 01474 814811 or by using eConsult.

When you telephone, or come into the surgery you will be asked a short series of questions by our receptionists. This information will be passed on to our Triage team who will be able to navigate your request to the right clinician at the right time.  There are a number of different healthcare options available to patients. The information that you provide to our reception team allows them to ensure that the right person can help you and helps the practice to sort patients based on their needs. We will be able to book an appointment for you once we know a little bit more about what the problem is or what your health needs are. The information you provide to the reception team is confidential, please give as much information as you can about your request when answering the questions. If you do not give us the information required, then it may take longer for you to be triaged.

Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can offer clinical advice, over the counter medicines and their use, to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns. They can also help you to decide whether you'll need to see a doctor. You don't need an appointment and you won't even be asked to make a purchase. Every pharmacy also has a private consultation area for you to talk about your symptoms in private if you prefer.

Extended Access appointments are now available in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley.

We are able to offer some patients appointments on weekday evenings and on Saturdays. These extended access clinics are run by DGS Health Federation and can be telephone or face-to-face consultations held at Kent House Surgery in Longfield. The clinician will have access to your medical record and are also able to arrange prescriptions requests, Med 3 certificates and referrals.

The extended access appointments can be offered by our navigation team once the patient has submitted an eConsult and their request has been triaged, to ensure that the appointment is appropriate.
