Learning Disability Week
16th June - 20th June 2025
This week is Learning Disability Week - The theme this year is "Do you see me?"
"Do you see me?" is about making sure that people with a learning disability are seen, heard, included, and valued in all aspects of life.
Led by Mencap, this year’s campaign asks all of us to look beyond assumptions and labels and to recognise people with learning disabilities as individuals with skills, ambition, and voices that matter.
Annual Health Check
This is a yearly review of physical and mental health, this is offered to adults with learning disabilities to help them stay healthy. It's a chance to discuss any health concerns, make sure vaccinations are up to date, and get support with managing any health conditions. The check is conducted by a nurse and a GP . You can bring someone along to support you if you wish.
